Struck by the feeling of confusion
An experience once longed for
now rears its ugly head
The regret of a feeling of jealousy
Verdigris masking empathy
Struck by the feeling of pain
It hurts more than it helps
Now jealousy disappears
Replaced by a longing to escape
To step out of the scene...
Out of the pain
Struck down by the feeling
